Abstract
In this article, we study in section 2 the Vitali convergence theorem for L1 space, for Sobolev space, and for radially symmetric Sobolev space. Then in section 3 we symmetrically study the fundamental properties of Palais-Smale sequences. Finally in section 4, we applied these results to study higher energy solutions of semilinear elliptic problems.
