Abstract
IPTV has become a proven technology that allows telecom companies around the world to deploy high quality multicast IPTV channels. However, good quality content and services remain a problem for many service providers. In this thesis, we propose some IPTV widget designs to enable new services (including web) for the users to access. The IPTV user interface is designed under the constraints of existing Set-Top Box (STB) products. We demonstrate the design ideas with five IPTV widget examples.
