Abstract
Service industry has became the biggest part of American economy and the role service industry plays is getting more and more important. Information technology influences the service system of how it works deeply.The defining characterics of services- intangibility, simultaneity, heterogeneity, and perishability – force the development of service industry.In this new era of Internet, it overcomes many problems and has become a powerful auxiliary tools of service system.This paper trys to explore how and what do service characterics and concepts of service system design affect by Internet environment from the nature view. To frame the analysis and discussion of the service system design for service industry, the article applies the Indistrial Engineering’s conceptualization of the service system design.This paper will dicuess what do the information and Internet characterics influence on service characterics.Continuously,dicuess how do service characterics’ change influence the service system design.
