Abstract
This paper will discuss, during Japanese colonial rule of Taiwan newspaper “Taiwan people's News(臺灣民報)”, known as "Taiwan's only organ", how about the reporting of China News? And what kinds of meaning or purpose exist in these messages of “China”. I read the "Taiwan people's news(臺灣民報)" before the summaries of these articles about "China", then use the methods of text analysis to research. I found: in the "China" and "Chinese nationalism" on the two subjects, adopted a positive attitude to the“Taiwan people's News(臺灣民報)” with a negative attitude the " Taiwan everyday newspaper(臺灣日日新報)" the contrary view. Shows that Taiwanese tend to agree China. Facing the chaos of China, "Taiwan people's News(臺灣民報)”tend to agree that Japan-China goodwill and does not expect China in early time. But after 1925, they was the regime's support for China has grown especially for Sun Yat-sen after the second Zhili–Fengtian War. Then the "Taiwan people's News(臺灣民報)”and a lot of Taiwanese often appear on the Sun Yat-Sen and the Kuomintang, even some Taiwan people come to China as Taiwan struggle. However, after the 1925, Sun Yat-Sen's death, the expanding of the Communist international and the world economic slump that followed the KMT and Taiwan concept out of clashes between left and right . Finally, in the "Taiwan people's News(臺灣民報)”, "transformation in China" as the topic completely subsided, while China and Taiwan split the left and right on the same time, witness the Taiwan relations with China actually link.
