Abstract
Modern enterprises are destined to make fast and precise adjustments to the constantly changing environment. And innovation and development have become the most important strategies for a company to manage new challenges from the market. To ensure the everlasting of an organization, one has to ask how can innovation and development be achieved and what factors are involved.A profitable transformation requires not only the sense and grip for opportunity but also the efficient and calculated use of surrounding resources, with the aim of leading the market and creating fortune. Practically, the R&D team has to identify the prospect, evaluate market potential, and turn out a proposal for innovation.This study is focused on the dynamic evolution of the Winbond Electronics Corp. since 1995. And it was found that an intricate relationship exists between opportunity identification, belief perception, resources management, and assets accumulation. The operation history contributes immensely to the awareness of opportunity. The operation belief instead determines the direction of the company. And the key to the innovation process relies on the successful resource management.
