Abstract
Innovation is absolutely a kind of the social responsibility. A great power sustains the world as well. Converge on different knowledge and diversification fields to make innovation have been existed several centuries. People called “The Boundary Spanner” or “The Medici Effect”. The innovation by the boundary spanner become rising and worthy that is because the people migration, the knowledge hand around and the computing gain ground in the past years. However, there is less boundary spanner activities expand in IC design field. Since the IC design field has being above the Semiconductor Industry so that the innovation is necessary for IC design field. This case will describe a boundary spanner activity which expands in IC Design Company including the process, benefits and results. To be the benchmark for Taiwan IC Design companies to upgrade and sustain the entire semiconductor industry.
