Abstract
For most of the image-processing equipments, paper-feeding mechanisms play an important role in the property and speed of the process results. In order to achieve the requirements of being both high speed and high resolutions, it is necessary to analysis the dynamic property of the mechanism. In this study, we formed the dynamic equations by the relations of the interacting force between the sheet and rollers. After dividing the feeding process into four steps, we also be able to discuss the affects of some important mechanical parameters on the dynamic behavior of the sheet during the feeding process. A test device was also designed test the feeding process. In experiment, the velocity variation during the feeding process were measured and recorded and compared the results with the theoretical analysis. Finally, from the results, conclusions were drew to discuss about the affects of normal forces, friction coefficients, and velocity difference of the rollers on the velocity stability of the paper sheet in various feeding speeds.
