Abstract
隨著網際網路快速的發展,對每個設計者來說,都能很方便且快速的運用網際網路,此時若能將超大型積體電路的設計與網際網路串連在一起,將能使其更廣泛的應用.電子設計自動化架構在全球資訊網上面也引經發展出很多實驗性的展示.以這個模式為基礎,設計者能用到目前最新且最好的軟體工具和技術,並且軟體廠商也能用最少的推銷市場的代價來獲得更多的顧客群.在這篇碩士論文中,我們提出了一個以全球資訊網為基礎,提供軟體服務的系統,並將其命為CompBro.CompBro提供了一個整合的環境,包括了網際網路,超大型積體電路設計,資料庫系統應用並考慮傳輸的安全性及壓縮解壓縮之問題,讓硬體和軟體的廠商與設計者能彼此分享資源並互相交換意見.我們也已經測試這個系統在不同平台上來確保它的完整性.With the Internet access available to virtually every designer,it is interesting to explore the relationship between VLSIdesign and Internet.EDA on the web is a new paradigm inspiringseveral experimental prototypes.Based on this mode, designerscan use the state-of-the-art software tools and technology, andtool vendors will have broader customers with very littlemarketing effort. In this thesis, a web-based system calledCompBro has been implemented. It is an integrated environmentwhere hardware/software vendors and designers can shareresources and communicate with each other. We have testedCompBro on different platforms to evaluate its effectiveness.
