Abstract
In this thesis, a system based on photothermal deflection method is use to measure the heat generations is proposed. Unlike general photothermal deflection systems, the magnetic sample acts as the heat source by pumping laser in our experiments. The energy is produced due to relaxation and damping during the magnetized process with a modulated alternative magnetic field are studied in this thesis. From the relaxation experimental results, the magnetic particles could generate heat by Neel and Brownian relaxation process. When the alternative magnetic field systems include static magnetic field, magnetic moment energy will be inhibited. The energy will be reduced. Damping during the magnetized process experimental results, the alternative magnetic field is generated by AC power supply and microwave. As a matter of fact that the alternating magnetic field is not absorbed by aluminum film in experimental. Because the alternating magnetic field is absorbed by magnetic film, the photothermal deflection phenomenon is measured by systems.
