Abstract
This research establishes the generic concept model of the coordinated communication and interactive behavior in the enterprise e-procurement with the use of mobile agents and the coordination theories as foundation. The research also takes a case of the semiconductor industry as the example to study the actual application of this coordinated communication model, and use the mobile agent software tool to exercise the model.Through defining the goal, activities, and dependencies; designing the coordinated messages and activity patterns; and building up mobile agent systems, enterprises can accomplish the dynamic coordinated process under different scenarios of the e-procurement.The potential benefit of the model and tool is to make the communication and coordination process more effective in e-procurement.
