Abstract
Nb/Al-AlOx/Nb SIS junction is applied to be a mixer device. In this experiment, we fabricated some Nb/Al-AlOx/Nb SIS junctions and tried to optimize the conditions ofjunction fabrication to obtain high quality Nb/Al-AlOx/Nb SIS junction. After Nb/Al-AlOx/Nb SIS junction was fabricated completely, we measured I-V curve (the DC current vs. the DC voltage curve) and Ic-B curve (the critical current vs. the external applied magnetic field). These measurements can help us to study the characteristics and the quality ofNb/Al-AlOx/Nb SIS junction.
