Due to the popularization of the internet, the development of globalization has become a trend and enterprises will face a more changeable market. Accompanied by the requirements of customization, enterprises will face a market with low volume demand on multiple types、easily changeable requirements from customers and the stress of delivery dates. Not only the production environment of enterprises will change violently but they will encounter more and more problems on production scheduling. So, if there is a production scheduling system which can consider multiple production factors, it will help enterprises solve problems on production scheduling and enhance their profitability and competitiveness.Carefully analyzing a production system, we can find the capacity of the bottleneck machine is often the key factor to the output of the production system. Therefore enterprises need not only an excellent production scheduling system but also one that can do efficient planning on the bottleneck machine in the production process. The study will use the concept of the Drum-Buffer-Rope scheduling method, consider different kinds of factors in the production process, focus on the scheduling of limited-resource machine, and plan the details of optimal scheduling on every machine in the overall production system. Hopefully the developed a production scheduling system that can consider multiple production factors and can be applied in different kind of production environments.To validate the efficiency of the approach in the study, we will use two exemplifications to apply on production Scheduling. In addition, we will compare the result with the two conventional scheduling rules – Earliest Due Date(EDD rule) and Shortest Processing Time(SPT rule). The result of exemplifications shows that it takes the better effect on the average processing time and the average delay time than conventional ones. However, we can use the data of the limited-resource machine wandering on the result. to management and control the production scheduling system.
