Abstract
Abstract A set of intra-oral cones has been constructed for electron beam therapy form a linear accelerator. Three circular cones, with diameters range from 19 mm to 32 mm, plus three beleved(18.5°)cones are in use. Dosimetry data, percent depth、dose curve 、cone output dose 、cone leakage radiation、X-ray contamination and surface dose were measured. The use of electron beam with an intraoral cones are well suited for the treatment of shallow seated lesions in the oral cavity, for example, oral tongue, floor of mouth, retromolar trigone, and soft palate.
