The dissertation presuppose that "neutrality" is an ethic of knowledge-transmission, evenmore, it is a method of education. The concept "neutrality" is clarified in this dissertation from two direction:1,the concept of institution; 2,the complementary ethic of "neutrality".1.the concept of institution: discuss Weber and Freud's different viewpoint about educational institution, so that we can distill the concept of subjectivity in institution ── "method" and "resistance".2.the complementary ethic of "neutrality":"neutrality" is an ethic-method for "teacher" in the scene of knowledge-transmission, as for "students", the ethic-method they follow are "ethic of responsibility"(Weber) and "free-association"(Freud). The former asks the subject to use his own reason and take the responsibility; the latter ask the subject to give up his whole reason. We can concule that "neutrality" of Freud and Weber imply totally different concept of subjectivity.
