摘要
In the textile, high-performance polyimide (PI) fiber provides excellent flame resistance, good mechanical properties, UV radiation resistance, and resistance to conventional organic solvents. PI fibers have relatively low thermal decomposition temperatures, and the mechanical properties decrease with increasing temperature. Therefore, improving the thermal stability of polyimide fibers could further expand their application fields. Through the spinning process, controlling parameters such as spinning speed and coagulation bath conditions can improve the uniformity and stability of PI fibers, thereby optimizing the morphology and structure of the fibers, and further enhancing their mechanical strength and elastic modulus. In this study, a high-thermal-performance PI fiber, ODPA-FDA (OF), was prepared by dry-jet wet spinning and thermal drawing, and examining the thermal property via molecular chain conformation.
