In this paper, we define the weaker Meir-Keeler type function ψ : ℜ ⁺ → ℜ ⁺ , and under this weaker Meir-Keeler type function, we show a common fixed point theorem of two set-valued mappings in a complete metric space. Our results generalize the results of Zhang (2007) [1]. © 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
