Abstract
It is important to study the corrosion resistance of magnesium-aluminum alloy for its poor corrosion resistance property. The existential modalities of rare earth elements in magnesium-aluminum alloys and the studying status of magnesium-aluminum alloys containing rare earth at home and abroad are summarized. The influence mechanism of rare earth on corrosion resistance is discussed.
