Abstract
A segmented cascade ion chamber was built to measure the intensities and energies of synchrotron radiation x rays at the same time. The ion chamber consists of 20 cathode cells. By measuring the ionized current collected in each cell and fitting the result, the energies and intensities of fundamental and high harmonic x-ray photons can be extracted. © 1999 American Institute of Physics.
