Vacuum-deposited inorganic cesium lead halide perovskite thin films were developed by co-sublimation of cesium halide and lead halide precursors in high vacuum. The hygroscopic nature of the alkali halides was carefully considered to accurately control the stoichiometric ratios of the precursors in the perovskite thin films. By integrating vacuum-sublimed hole and electron transport layers, all-vacuum-deposited solar cells were fabricated. The devices with stoichiometrically balanced precursor ratios exhibited significantly better performances than those with nonstoichiometric molar ratios.
