Abstract

CLCA1;Mucin 5AC;Solithromycin

Methods: We examined the effect of Solithromycin on mucin hypersecretion induced by IL-13 through assessment of the cell signaling intermediates responsible for mucin production. Normal human bronchial epithelial (NHBE) cells were grown at air-liquid interface (ALI) to ciliated differentiation without IL-13 and goblet cell hyperplasia with IL-13 for 14 days.
