Characterization of stationary and nonstationary behavior in gyrotron oscillators

Abstract

The characterization of the transition from the stationary state to a sequence of nonstationary state in the gyromonotron was presented. The stationary operation of a gyrotron backward oscillator at a beam current in nonstationary threshold was also demonstrated. A comparative analysis of feedback mechanism, energy deposition profiles, and field shaping processes in the above two oscillators was also presented.
