摘要
We modified polydimethylsiloxane to have an elastic modulus of single kilopascals, and then used the gravitational force of falling liquid droplets to pattern molecules on a surface. This allowed us to construct uniform patterns over a large area with control over both molecular patterning and surface topography. The straightforward nature of this technique makes it potentially amenable to low-cost production and rapid prototyping of cellular and molecular patterns. © 2008 American Institute of Physics.
