Abstract
Twelve cumulative fission yields in thermal-neutron induced fission of 232 U have been measured for the first time by using direct, multi-scaling, multi-channel gamma-ray spectrometry with normalization to the absolute fission rate in 235 U(n th ,f) reaction. Corresponding mass yields in 232 U(n th ,f) reaction were determined using fission yield data and a set of charge dispersion parameters. Results of mass yields are compared to other measurements as well as those in the isotopic 233,235 U(n th ,f) reactions. Influences of closed shell effect on fission products and characteristics of mass yield curves are compared and discussed. © R. Oldenbourg Verlag, München 1990
