Abstract
A computer-aided system to test and analyze welding thermal cycle in weld zone was developed in this paper. The software is composed of three modules of welding data base module, basic data collection module and parameters calculation module. It can automatically collect, save, process, display or record the test results. Under the same heating rates, the maximum temperature of 10CrMo910 steel welding thermal cycle in weld zone, which was obtained by actual measurement, was approximately equal to that by the developed system, and both of them were highly greater than the reported results about heat affected zone. The self-programmed software can meet the need to study the assessment on material weldability.
