摘要
The electro-optical characteristics of IPS mode TFT-LCDs were studied by using device simulations. Simulation were utilized to obtain design principles for low driving voltage, low crosstalk between pixels and wide viewing angle. We found electrode width and tilt angle of liquid crystal molecules at substrate surface are key points to optimize the electronic- and optical performance.
