Abstract
Single-pot nitroalkene → cyanoaldehyde transformation, α-methoxy oxime formation, α- and β-alkylations of β-sulphenylated nitro compound, generation of β-sulphenylated silyl nitronate, and sequential Michael addition and Nef reaction have been accomplished in good to excellent yields.
