Abstract
With the identification of millennial professional characteristics and advancing Information Technology (IT), traditional mentoring relationships and methods are gradually shifting towards a reverse-mentoring system. This study reviewed a scale on traditional mentoring functions from the combined perspectives of reverse mentoring and millennial professional characteristics in Taiwan. The results provide organisations with a reference for quantitative evaluations when they promote and execute reverse mentoring. Finally, the proposed scale establishes an empirical foundation to quantify reversementoring systems. Copyright © 2014 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.
