Abstract

Tl-Ba-Ca-Cu-0 (TBCCO) films have been grown on metal foils, such as Ni, Pt, Au and Ag by wrapping precursor film of Ba-Ca-Cu-0 and unsintered TBCCO bulks in gold foils, which were heated at 860-890°c for 10 min in flowing oxygen and followed by quenching treatment. The superconducting films can just be grown on Ag and Au substrates. The phases of the films are composed of c-oriented Tl2Ba2Ca1Cu2Ox (”2212”), c-oriented Tl2Ba&a2Cu3Ox (”2223”), or the mixture of c-oriented ”2212” and“”2223”. The best superconducting properties of the films are Te (R = 0) of 105 K.
