摘要
Modified anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates are developed to deposit copper nanowires (CuNWs) with high-density nanoscale twin boundaries. By controlling anodization potential during oxide barrier thinning process a porous AAO array is directly formed on an Al foil without tedious contact electrode deposition and substrate transfer processes. The nanotwinned CuNWs electrodeposited in the modified AAO template reveal shorter nanocrystalline transition region than that in the conventional AAO template. The influence of nanocrystalline and nanotwin structure on electrical resistivity of Cu nanowires is also evaluated.
