Abstract

Polystyrene loaded with 4-5 wt.% carbon nanotubes exhibits a 94% electromagnetic adsorption at radiofrequency; the underlying mechanism involves impedance matching and maximization of energy transfer at the air-composite interface. © 2008 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
