摘要
This study presents a novel metasurface-based graphene patch antenna operating at the 1.4 THz band, combining a metasurface layer and graphene patch design to enhance operational bandwidth and gain, aiming to meet the high data transmission requirements of 6G communication systems. Antenna performance was analyzed using CST electromagnetic simulation software. The results indicate that the proposed antenna achieves an operational bandwidth of 278 GHz at a frequency of 1.4 THz, with a transmission rate reaching the terabit-per-second range. The design demonstrates excellent impedance matching and radiation efficiency within specific frequency ranges. The metasurface layer enhances radiation directivity via interference effects, while the graphene patch layer improves return loss through controlled adjustment of its chemical potential, relaxation time, and positioning. Additionally, array module analysis confirms the benefits of an array configuration for further performance enhancement. This design offers a promising approach for achieving high-gain, wide-band characteristics in future terahertz antennas, with potential applications in radar, communication, and biomedical sensing fields.
