Abstract

GaP nanobelts were synthesized by thermal evaporation. The growth direction of the GaP nanobelts was [110]. As such, a vacancy ordering superstructure was observed. This superstructure can be envisaged in terms of a LPS with a superstructure in the (111) stacking plane.
