Abstract
This work demonstrate a new type of two-wavelength interferometer for absolute distance measurement without phase ambiguity. This new type of two-wavelength interferometer has several advantages: (1) Only a single laser diode is required; and (2) The phase ambiguity problem is solved by using the trapezoidal-modulation technique.
