Abstract
Three numerical schemes and one approximate model for the calculation of overall rate constants for the finite system in a general diffusion and incorporation setting were developed. Yet another approach to obtain the nondiffusion-limited overall rate constant was based on the corresponding data for the diffusion-limited problem. Since the overall rate constant can be more readily obtained for the diffusion-limited cases, it will prove worthwhile to develop an approximate link between the data for the diffusion-limited problem to those for the nondiffusion-limited problem.
