The title compound, C18H22O7S, is the product of the per-O-acetyl-ation and thio-glycosyl-ation of the hexose l-(+)-rhamnopyran-ose. The structure has a chair conformation and the thio-phenyl group on the anomeric carbon (C-1) is in an axial position. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
