摘要
The photodetachment of the outer shell of C - in the ground state using an augmented R-matrix theoretical methodology from threshold to 13 eV was investigated. It was observed that the total and partial cross sections and photoelectron angular distribution asymmetry parameters were obtained. It was shown that there was an excellent agreement between length and velocity formulations. The results show that a new shape resonance, 1s 2 2s 2 2p3s3p 4 P, was found at a photon energy of 8.588 eV.
