Abstract
Zircaloy-4 plate with β-quenched heat treatment was irradiated by 600 keV nitrogen ions at 470°C. The irradiation induced microstructures were characterized using standard transmission electron microscopy techniques. No dislocation loops were found. Diffraction pattern analysis revealed that the large precipitates were probably Zr 0.675 Sn 0.245 Fe 0.08 and Zr 4 Sn. © 1987.
