摘要
The scattering loss of a high reflectance dielectric multilayer stack designed by the optimum pair method was studied theoretically and experimentally. It was found that the optimum pair designed stack has lower loss than a conventional quarterwave stack. Within the loss, in particular, the interface scattering of the optimum pair stack is smaller than the quarterwave stack. © 1990 Optical Society of America.
