Abstract

Silicon reagent Me ₃ SiN(ME)OSiMe ₃ contains bulky protons (i.e. Me ₃ Si ⁺ ). This reagent was found to possess regio- and chemoselectivities in the formation of nitrones from carbonyl compounds. © 1990.
