Previous study had reported a sub-group from progressive motile sperm sub-population with characteristics often referred to as upstream swimming or reversed progressiveness [1]. However, only until recently this sub-group can be separated with minimum damage [2]. Therefore, through the use of a novel microfluidic biochip design, it is the purpose of current study to exam whether or not spermatozoa thus acquired could show improvements not only in sperm motility but also in DNA integrity for normal as well as oligospermia patents.
