Abstract
This paper presents a successful measurement of the dynamics of laser pulse formation from the start-up to steady-state, for picosecond passively mode-locked Ti:sapphire/DDI laser, which uses values generated by measurement of the inverse contrast ratio of the transient autocorrelation trace for demonstration of the incomplete mode-locking to various degrees, the efficiency of second harmonic generation, and, the fractional energy.
