Abstract
The reaction between trans-1-bromopenta-2,4-diene and nonacarbonyldiiron in pentane yields (syn-η 3 -C 5 H 7 )Fe(CO) 3 Br. The spectroscopic data and chemical reactivities of this compound are reported and discussed. © 1986.
