The heat pipe has been widely used for cooling high power density devices due to its high effective conductivity, good heat spreading capability and geometric flexibility. The heat from the heat source is absorbed by the working fluid at the evaporation section via evaporation. The vapor then condenses at the distant condensation section where the latent heat is released to the environment.
