Abstract

Human Factors and Ergonomics Engineering (all)
The role of handheld computers as workplace evaluation tool for ergonomics is discussed. Handheld computers provide easier and faster data gathering as compared to conventional computer-based systems. Its signal capturing capacity alongwith a small and lightweight package further boosts its popularity. Despite its limitation in collecting high frequency signals with limited sampling rates, it is considered to be a useful evaluation tool.
