Abstract
Annealing of carbon nanotubes coated with thin and uniform TiO 2 results in carbon diffusion into oxygen lattices and doping induced redshift is evident by an efficient photocatalysis at visible light. The underlying mechanism is discussed. © 2010 American Institute of Physics.
