摘要

The current state of transportation policy within the UK is reviewed. In the spirit of Local Agenda 21's empowering local communities as well as by thinking globally and acting locally, a case study for the Rhymney Valley, South Wales is presented. This analyses the region's current policies which influence transportation and suggestions are made for future improvements.
