An optical fiber ring resonatory sensor system has been demonstrated by applying a triangular phase modulation signal to a fiber loop. The d3mamic range for detection of optical phase change is 2TT. The sensor is linear within this range. The minimum detectable optical phase change is 1.5 x 10“. © 1992 Optical Society of America.
