Abstract
A study was performed on tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (AlQ 3 ) nanoparticles prepared by vapor condensation. It was revealed by x-ray diffraction patterns that the nanoparticles have an amorphous structure. A broadened peak varying from 4500 to 7000 Å, with maximum intensity at about 5380 Å was observed in the photoluminescence spectra of the nanoparticles.
