In this paper we have analyzed the wake field amplitude in two types of double slab structures, one with dielectric slabs and the another with both dielectric and plasma liner. It is observed that the plasma liner enhances the dielectric wake field amplitude, thus reduces the requirement of large amplitude drive current. © 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
