Abstract
The formation of a photodegradable polymer for the improvement in β(triorgano)silyl ketonic unit into poly(butadienes) was discussed. The reactions for the photodegradability improvement includes the treatment of poly(butadienes) with sodium nitride, ceric ammonium nitrate and acetic acid in a sealed bottle in sonication and the reaction between Me 3SiCh 2 and the ketonic group in THF AT 10° C. A carbony group in 3 observed by an IR absorption at 1724 -1 showed the presence of an Si(CH 3 ) 3 group. It was observed that broken bonds by GPC were resistant to photolysis and the ketones containing polymers had strong photodegradability.
